Translating a sentence from German

Hi all,

I am in process of renting an apartment through website http://www.wg-gesucht.de/ and using google translator to communicate in german with prospective landlords. In response to my translated text I recived the following message in german from the landlord. Can you please help me understand what this guy is saying? Google translator is not helping much in translating this to english.

If you're absolutely going to use Google Translator, I would recommend at least putting your English text below as a footnote or something. Sometimes it can come up with some horrific translations.

I use Google Translator rarely when I'm really tired and just want to get the basic meaning of some German text without using my brain but I still end up comparing to the original, since it's so bad.

If you can at least write some basic German, it'd be better to sit down with a dictionary (dict.leo.org) and try to make some basic sentences to write to people. Practice is also the best way to learn!

You're very welcome mrfrantik. I second Matt's suggestion that you always include the original English. That way there is much less chance of misunderstandings.

Try to use the polite "Sie"-form next time you´ll write somebody you don´t know.
