Every Sunday at the tea house on Rigaer Str 105 we gather at 8pm to tell travel stories.
It's a really laid back, friendly atmosphere and some amazing anecdotes come pouring out.
Last week was the first session and we had around 30 people attending with over 20 great stories told.
It's free and there's cheap voku, beer and tea.
See you there,
Tommy

I just started it up last week with a view to hearing more spoken word tales and the quality of the stories was first class, there are so many great tales out there.

Apparently a bottle of champaigne was offered for the best story, but nobody actually got it. Not sure if it's cos the stories were bad or it was just a gimmick.

Sounds like a great idea this, well done to whoever dreamt this up. I might pop down to listen to a few funny stories..

Stood up to show some pictures illustrating my stories about visiting the DDR: "High Noon in Friedrichstraße"...just when you thought it was safe to go to the Grenzübergangsstelle...
