Just wondering if anyone else is going to this, I got a ticket as a present but only got one.
I know of a couple of people that are going but wanted to see how many TT people were going and if anyone fancied meeting up before it?

I went to see the Doves last night. I really really liked it!
Though the most "interesting" thing was the support bands drummer... ;-) pretty funny!

Yeah was a good gig, I'm not a big fan though.
I was the one giving the singer some banter after the second or third song when the guitarist didn't have a clue which setting he needed to use for the next one! Also got a setlist from the stage at the end!!
What did you think he said when they went off stage for the first time...I thought he said "Sorry I fucked it up!" wasn't sure what he was on about but I thought the sound quality of his vocals were crap!
The first band were good for a support band, credit to the drummer for learning those beats so fast...i heard he only got out the mental institution las week!!
We were standing right at the front, and noticed the singer/bassist played his guitar and base upside down (i.e. stringed for a right handed player but just turned the wrong way round) very strange, never seen it done like that!!

I was there also with a bunch of friends and we all guessed that he was starting to lose his voice so had to bale ... could be wrong though but they only played for an hour which is kinda short I think.
Good gig though and the drummer from World Leader Pretend was hilarious!

I thought it seemed kind of short too, but thought it was great nonetheless. I think they played everything on the set list that scotsman got, so they didn't end early. I'd have to take a second look at the list to be sure though.
I like the first bad but would never ever go see them live again, even if they made it super big someday. That drummer totally freaked me out. The guy on bass next to him was a bit weird for the first few songs but started acting more normal for the faster songs.
Anybody know Jim Hensen's Muppets? If so image the drummer as the muppet Animal who played the drums in the band.
