Heya, i know I could google for it but my boss just came in and said i have to drive immediatly to the US consulate and I know its somewhere in Königinstrasse but have no clue how to get there by car...

Getting to the American consulate by car

I think best way is to go Leopoldstrasse, martiusstrasse and then drive Königinstrasse, its pretty much towards the end isnt it. The address is Königinstrasse 5

get off at odeonsplatz and walk it. parking is a bitch
S8 to MPlatz (20 mins) either walk from there, or UBahn Odeonsplatz (2 mins) then walk

Max 10 minutes and you can walk through the Hofgarten which should be lovely right now.

take the föhringerring to studentenstadt. turn left down the ungerestrasse. past munchener freiheit. at gieselestrasse before the macdonalds turn left. carry on towards the englisher garten. when you come to the garden turn right direction cafe reitschule. keep on going and you'll have to parf somewhere down there. maybe near the standes amt. that part of Schwabing is a bit one wayie so be prepared.

I think they're only open 8 till 11 though, better hurry!
Hmm. I think the better advice would have been where to park. Königinstrasse is blocked off since 9/11 and the car can't get close to the US consulate since then. At least they've since removed the armed tank...

anyway, got the job done, boss happy. although I pissed off some police men. Kat, actually that is a very good point but i only needed to drop off something, my colleague was waiting for me outside...
next time I will have to find possibleparking places beforehand!
