Jazz singer wanted - Berlin

Hello,

we're looking for somebody with a good knowledge of jazz standards and able to improvise as well.

The idea is to make a lot of good payed gigs in restaurants, Hotel bar etc..(cocktail kind of music) and normal concerts in jazz club as well.

I am indeed a Jazz singer with a wide standards repetior. A few years ago I attempted to do just what you are suggesting, with a pianist and it totally fell in the water. I took demos round to loads of hotels and resteraunts and noone called back. I think it's something you have to be very, very dedicated to if you want to make it work. Nevertheless, I am definitely interested as I would still love to have more Jazz in my life!

I'm a singer, with various styles, emphasis on jazz standards and improvisation (with my poetry as well). I was in the Berlin music scene a few years back before my recent return and am eager to get back in it, do gigs around Berlin, hopefully in time for the coming season. Worked mainly with Jazz/Funk/Blues/Rock/Experimental musicians in bands, duos, etc.
I have a program I did for six months in San Francisco with a pianist; a mix of Jazz, Classic 60's Pop and Soul, some Standard Musical Theater...lends itself well to a Jazz program. Would love to meet up with you or chat, if you have an interest.
