I've found all sorts of seafood, but clams have so far eluded me. Any suggestions?
Cheers,

Surimex, Winterhuderweg 78 or so has frozen clams, and frozen clam meat.

if
Seifarth in Norderstedt don't have it they will get it for you. Be prepared to pay through the nose though. In former days I used to collect all their fish. Have you tried somewhere down near Hafenstrasse? Especially Fischhandel Nussgraber, Gr. Elbestr. 133, 040-38619696. They never let me down yet, but give them a couple of days to get it.

There's an Italian gormet shop in Gansemarkt that you can try. In my experience, the Asian markets always have frozen clams.

I have bought tinned clams in brine at the Schlemmermarkt. In the past, I have also bought them at the Galleria Kaufhof supermarket. Hope this helps!

Here is an online site for clams (Venusmuscheln) with delivery possible in Germany. You should also be able to special request them from the seafood stand at any local market, and maybe from the Kaufhof. Clam juice, on the otherhand, remains elusive...

BTW - Mussels are in season now in Germany, and are Uber-cheap (~4 EU / Kg)!

Thanks, all.
I did find clams! After I made my chowder, I saw them again at the Spanish supermarket in Bahrenfeld (across from Harry's Fliesenmarkt). Next time I won't have to wander so far.
