Paying for an Aer Lingus flight by creditcard

I am wondering whether I should carry the credit card with me (Air port) if I make an online payment to purchase an Aer Lingus ticket?

You don't need to.

you do not need it as a form of identifiaction if that is what youe question means, however if something goes wrong on your trip and you need to change your flights or return dates then having the card with you or at least the details is a good idea.

Don't you carry your Credit card in your purse/wallet wherever you go?... Or the CC isn;t yours?

Nope the CC isn´t mine. My friend plans to buy the ticket for me and she is not travelling with me, so I am wondering whether I still need the CC with me when I travel!

Nah I have travelled on tix bought on others' CCs quite a bit. Don't need the actual card.
