James Joyce Irish Pub in Kerpen

This pub seems to be on summer closure for weeks now. I have never been in there so curious to see what it's like. Does anyone know if it will re-open ever? Basically looking for somewhere in the Horrem / Kerpen area to watch English Ppremier League etc.

Bummer, I figured it would go that way, it tended to be quite empty most of the time (meant you could always usually get a place on the pool table though).

Only went once and it was pretty dead, so never went back. Also it was pretty expensive compared to the other kniepen in Kerpen.

neilg, the keglerbahn has sky as does Klavbotz....they're pretty good if you want to watch something and no one else is.

Thought there was also a sports bar in Horrem, though never been in.

I doubt that pub ever showed Premiere League football.. Never been in though. Let me know if it opens up again. As far as I know there are no other irish pubs in Kerpen/Bergheim.
