My client is a leading international sportswear company who are seeking to recruit an experienced Accountant focussed on Accounts Receivable/Credit Control

In this role, you will be responsible for

• Accounts Receivable Processes/ Credit Collections and appropriate reporting for Germany and Scandinavia
• Assist with the monthly accounting cycle including preparing journals and accounts payable
• Process online banking transactions
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information in the system (Navision)
• Dealing with customer enquiries and also prepared to take on occasional duties in a customer service role

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting role
• General accounting duties and excellent telephone manner
• Essential to be fluent in English and and have a high level of German
• Flexible and able to adapt well to changing business requirements
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive and able to question existing systems and processes and implement improvements
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
