Best After Work Parties in town

I was just wondering where are the best After work Parties?
I know the BMW Pavillion and Nachtcafé. The problem with the BMW Pavillion is that you can't get in anytime after seven, which is why i have never been there.
Nachtcafe I thought was quite cool, i really like the music...
Where else do you go?
Are these parties a weekly thing or just organised by ppl like Juke 'n Joy?

I have been to one at Lenbachhaus, called the 7 sins, at Stachus. It has fire flame things outside. U pay entry and get a free glass of sekt and can eat from the buffet but this goes v quickly. it was ok but rather snobby people.

^^yeah that place is ultra schicki! There's supposed to be this afterwork thing on wednesdays at 2rooms in stachus, but I don't know if it would be any good. I always end up going to a place like Die Bank in Muller str for drinks.

I've done the Cafe Reitschule after work on Thursdays... small fee to get in, free buffet (also goes VERY fast) and gets very packed. Then you go in the back big room and dance, which is way too crowded and they play the same old crap TOP 40 that everyone else plays. I know that doesn't help.. but at least rules out CR!

Try 8 Seasons it is at Maximilianstr.2 Nice club...2 large rooms for dancing and the food is better than Reitschule. They have the after work party on Tuesdays. I had a great time last time I was there...
Costs 6 Euros and includes a glass of free Prosecco

Coyote Night at Cohibar (Kultfabrik) is quite funny and good... Went there and had a great time - so I think it's worth a visit...

Just saw a poster today advertising a new afterwork party at crowns club on thursday nights. The dj line up is quite good too, so the quality of the music might be a bit better.

are 'after work' parties a special type of party?

yeah, they occur after work

don't most parties occur after work?...or are some classified as during work or pre-work?

these things start at 6:30ish and generally fizzle out between 11 and 12. Lots of folk head to them straight from work.

I've only ever been one time to an After Work event. It was at Lenbach Palais and if the women there were coming straight from work, they must all work in a brothel.

I was in Nachtcafe and I actually was coming staright from work and i have to agree with Showem, I pretty much was the only one wearing a suit, I felt sooo square. Most guys though were wearing suits or at least business casual clothes. I think it was 8€ in, but I am not sure if that was a weekly event... No buffet, just food. menu looked quite good but it was so packed that I didn't eat anything and went to Mac donalds later on...

Was last night in 8-Seasons and party was good. Surprisingly JukeBox&NoJoy were spinning from their heart and the crowd was following so they spared the 80' and 90' stuff for an 1 hour brake and then music was again pumping. regarding partying and places in Munich I recommend to check the Nachtagenten web-page since it gives almost all the information that you need for the nightliffe in Munich.

Lenbach is probably the exception, it is pretty posh, and the beautiful people love to get dressed up and go there. Reit Schule would be a better example of people heading there in suits.

I heard a funny story about 8 seasons last night, heard there was a VIP area, where everyone was boxed in like sardines, almost all blokes as well. 3 bouncers guarding the ropes to the area as well. On the civi side there was more room and more chicks... Why would you go and stand in an area like that unless I suppose image is all for these people.

Yeah, the VIP area is really funny, last night there was also entertainent included, there was a blond arguing with a guy and they were like showing middle fingers and swearing and then some other chick she wanted to make her boyfriend jealous and she was almost stripping in this VIP area. I dunno for VIPs but VFP (F=Funny) they were for sure
