Cost of pregnancy check-ups - Germany

Hello ,

I am here in Germany Berlin for few months , my Wife is in 5th month of Pregnency , we do not have the Insurance to cover her Pregnancy , my Question is How much it Costs (its important) to get an Ultrasound/regular Tests done? , to make sure all is well , and Can you suggest any Docter for this?

Hi Ajay - I see nobody's responded to your query yet. I'm guessing it's because most people here are insured and haven't paid these types of bills out of pocket in Germany. You will find the names of English speaking obstetricians in Berlin who come recommended by others here: English-speaking obstetricians Berlin. Or else you can contact any obstetrician (Frauenarzt/Geburtshilfe) in your neighborhood and ask how much it costs in cash at their practice. Most doctors will speak at least some English and perhaps he secretary and/or practice administrator can give you this information right over the phone.
