American Women's Club Open House (with live jazz) - Hamburg

The American Women's Club of Hamburg is hosting an Open House on Friday night. Members and non-members are invited to join us for a casual evening with drinks and hors d'oeuvres to discover (or rediscover) what the AWCH is all about and connect with members past, present, and (hopefully) future. Partners and spouses are of course welcome as well.

Forget the stereotype of the bored housewife on temporary assignment in Germany with her husband. Our members range from young 20-somethings to our honored senior members, some here for only a short time, many here for a lifetime. At 120 strong, the group is dynamic and there's sure to be something for everyone.

Activities directors will be on hand to talk to you about the Film Group, #5 Bus Group, Mutti-Kind Groups, Cultural Events such as trips to the ballet and theater, Couples Nights, Stitch n Bitch, and much, much more.

After the Open House, stay with us for live jazz music starting at 21:30.

I should also mention: we have members of many nationalities. The language of the club is English and the focus is on American culture, but one need not be American to join.
