Britain to cut number of Trident submarines

The day after Obama makes a pledge to cut the number of nuclear missiles (with murmurs of Russia doing the same), Gordon Brown makes this half-hearted response to reduce the threat of Mutually Assured Destruction.

I suspect this has more to do with saving money than maintaining world peace. Still, 25% less nuke subs is the way to go IMO.
