My daughter just started ninth grade gymnasium and found out that she'll be required to do a Betriebspraktikum this year. This will be a five-day unpaid internship. So far, the internships I've seen are for older students and for longer periods of time. So, I was wondering (a) if anyone can report on their experiences with their children doing this (any tips or words of advice?) and (b)if anyone has any recommendations for companies in the fields of journalism or music that might be interested in having an unpaid intern for five days. My daughter speaks fluent English and German (with goods grades in each)and has had three years of French.
