Searching for one-day German cooking courses

For groups of 4-8pax tourists

ramones
Hi there!

I am doing a call for help, because internet search engines haven't been really helpful. I am searching for a location where a group of people (4-8) can enjoy in a typical German cooking course (half-day to one day). Preferably with a chef that could take my group to a local market to introduce us to the ingredients and then start the cooking course.

I have managed to find these courses for France, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Hungary, but I am pretty much stuck on Germany.... And I would like to include the country in my European Cooking Trip.

Would anybody here know of a place like this, or maybe even better, locals that would be willing to cook English speaking foreigners some of the German cooking?

I live in Regensburg and took a day course at Rosenpalais (http://www.rosenpalais.de/). The chef was really nice and explained things well, was a wonderful experience. We inquired about an English-speaking course and they said that would be no problem and that courses could be tailored to the group. The chef has been awarded a Michelin star in the past, and the restaurant is very pretty. Regensburg is about 1-1.5 hours northeast of Munich, and has a beautiful, medieval city center (it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It wasn't bombed during WWII, so everything is original.

If you're interested in German dishes in general, I'm running a challenge on my blog to make a German recipe every week. Tomorrow I'm posting about Elderberry soup, and next week is venison with chanterelles.
