I recently received group tickets for the Passionplay for a group next May. I was shocked that my order went thru (I faxed it the first day individual and group tickets were available without the lodging packages) and didn't receive my confirmation until four months later.

I know there is a long lunchbreak, and I am assuming that those with hotel packages, who have all their arrangements made for meals, will be filling up any local restaurants. Does anyone have any restaurant recommendations for the area that might take large groups (50)? I guess I will have to try one by one....is Garmisch too far away?
