The Rammstein video for their new single "Pussy" - Germany

Rammstein released their most extreme music video yet on September 16, 2009.

The song is called "Pussy" and the video is definitely NSFW!

Some background:

Rammstein is a German rock band from Berlin, formed in 1994. As of 2008, they had sold over 15 million records worldwide.

Rammstein takes their name indirectly from the West German town of Ramstein-Miesenbach, the site of the flight show disaster on 28 August 1988. The band's signature song, "Rammstein", is a commemoration of the Ramstein airshow disaster. The second "m" in the band's name makes it translate literally as "ramming stone" to convey the Teutonic sound of their music.

Rammstein's style has tended to divide critics, some of whom have responded with memorable comments including "music to invade Poland to".

I can't decide whether it's a genius piece of marketing/publicity or not. Something, somewhere, makes me feel uneasy.

The song is a bit of a grower and the lyrics very funny.

I also think it's a safe bet you won't be seeing it on MTV.

Female porn stars and hideous balding men. They flag wave, mimic Hitler and mention the Blitzkrieg. This should keep their fan base happy.

But I am morbidly curious. Is that people who look like them in the sex scenes, or actually the band?

Judging from the guy with the big rack who was pegging that other girl, I'm guessing they photoshopped (videoshopped?) their heads on the porn actors' bodies.

I thought that guy had tits. I just watched it again. Most times it seems to cut back and forth from dick to face. But a few times it showed full bodies.

Brilliant. I can't wait to see them play live at the Olympiahalle in November.
