Are you non-EU national?
Do you have a work permit?
Did you parents come to visit you or currently staying with you?

If all the answers are YES then you can help me smile.gif

I am from India and I am thinking of calling my parents here. Most of the people use "Schengen Visa" but that is only applicable for 90 days. Can I get a dependent visa or temporary residency for my parents?? Most of the web-sites show information of dependent visa for spouse and childeren.

Do you know anyone who has used this?

u can bring your parents here for 90 days.when they are here u can try to extend it and get a residence permit. U CANNOT get a visa for more than 90 days in India.

Really?! wink.gif Have you ever done that .. or do u know anyone who successfully did that before? A chinese friend of mine was inviting her parents over to take care of her child but they had to leave after 3 months (90days) and did another visa to get back in again, but maybe she didn't try asking for visa extension or a residence permit .. dry.gif
