Hi there,

I live in Schwabing with my husband and four month old son. I am Irish and my husband is English. We have been in Munich since June 2009.

Looking forward to the first meet-up.

Hi ladies - just read your posts on meeting up with babies. I have a 5 month old son and go on Tuesday afternoons 3-5pm to: http://www.muetterzentrum-ramersdorf.de it's just round the corner from Innsbrucker Ring U-bahn. Also there is a Toytown meet up on Wed afternoons from 3pm usually in the playground near Park Cafe at Karlsplatz or as the cooler weather approaches I think it will be at the Hofbraukeller on Innere Weiner str so quite near to you. If you fancy meeting at any other time let me know as I'm always keen on getting out with my little one!

Hi, i have a 8month old girl now is crawling and love meeting new friends. We live right across from Liupold Park in Schwabing. Which is a good place if you like to walk around in a park with nice cafe (La Villa) and playpark (there are 3 different ones).

We also go to Haidenhausen area a lot, because i love the play park by Weiner platz , which is with younger babies, and nice cafe around.
The SFC cafe by the platz is a great place for moms with babies, a private back area with big sofa and lots of toys to play.

If you'd like to meet up somewhere ..let us know ~

I would love to meet up as well. I have an almost 3 month old daughter, and I live near Luitpold Park too - however we can travel anywhere! I'm from California and would love to meet some other moms! Let's plan a time to get together!

Hey, just met Suzy yesterday and I must say, she is very nice!!! I don't know if you're aware that there is a free English speaking playgroup in Schwabing at the Familienzentrum on Leopoldstrasse 133 on Thursdays from 3-5. Hope to see you there!

And I live by Silberhornstrasse in Obergiesing and am always dying for company/to get out. Just pm me if you'd like to meet up or come over. Place isn't baby-proofed for crawlers yet (we need to get an electrician in), but...

Hello all,

Should we try to meet up next week? To get the ball rolling I suggest 10:30 on Wednesday, 28 Oct. Somebody with better knowledge of Munich can suggest a meeting place with good coffee of course.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Thank you for making a move to get the ball rolling. Unfortunately, 10:30 isn't a good time for me b/c of Isabella's naps. I hate to be one of those moms, but my sweet angel can become very scary if over-tired. Noon or 3:30 is usually better for me. Also, on Wed. there is a 3 o'clock group and Isabella can only handle about one sit around while the mommies drink coffee/tea a day. Does anyone like Mondays for a meetup?

Hey, I just moved back to Munich from the U.S. (originally from CA, just lived in Pittsburgh for a year) and have a 5-month old daughter. I'd love to meet up and am available...always. =) Let me know if you decide on a time and place. Hope to meet some of you soon!

tdrex, where in Munich do you live?

All, Mondays anybody? These things just go 'round and 'round in circles, don't they? The weather is supposed to be fairly nice on Mon. There is a playground right by my apartment. We could meet at my place on Mon. at noon and if the weather is nice, we could go to the park, but if cold, stay here. I live in Obergiesing near the U2 stop Silberhornstrasse in the second ring of Munich. My apartment is NOT BABY PROOFED for crawlers (property manager of the apartment keeps promising to bring an electrician in for some broken sockets, but I will put all cleaning supplies up and out of reach etc.), so we'd have to keep a careful eye on crawling babies.

Now we have a time and a place!

If you're interested pm me and I can get you relevant info. such as my phone number and address!!!

Hello all!

I would love to meet you and your babies. My son is now 8 months. I also live in Obergiesing, close to the UBahn Silberhornstr. At the moment my parents are visiting but would love to catch up soon!

I'm at my parents-in-law's house right now, but within the next week I'll be staying in West Schwabing for a month or two till' we find an apartment to stay in longer (possibly Haidhausen where we looked at an apartment today). Or possibly we'll move to Tübingen in December or January as I have a very good friend there with a baby girl the same age. I lived in Munich from 2005-8, but had a hard time finding good friends (which I guess is hard anywhere). My husband travels every week for work, and I want to make sure not to be so lonely this time. Now that I have a baby, I'm hoping that I'll have new opportunities to make friends with others who have babies. We'll see I guess. But I'd certainly love to meet all of you and will hopefully be able to join next week if not this as I may not be living in town yet this Monday. Have fun and see you soon I hope!

I have already arranged something for Monday. However, let me know how it goes - hope you have fun. Looking forward to meeting you all in a group or individually - its hard to organise a large number of Mums and Babies.

Wow - I haven't checked this in a while - is anyone still thinking about meeting tomorrow!
