In preparation for auditions for A Chorus Line (show dates in February and March 2010) at the Roadside Theater in Heidelberg, the Roadside Theater Educational Wing will offer four free CHORUS LINE dance workshops. These workshops are designed to prepare for auditions for the upcoming production of A CHORUS LINE. They are also great classes to get familiar with dance, to learn how to pick up dance moves and are really a lot of fun. It is not necessary to attend every workshop and casting of the show is not dependent on participation.
Workshops are free to the public; however, because it is located on Patton Barracks, pre-registration is required. Non-U.S. Military ID Cardholders MUST contact the Roadside Theater with passport information no later than one week prior to each workshop for admittance! It may not be too late to get on post, even if you call a few days beforehand, but you will not get on if you just show up!
You do NOT have to be affiliated with the military to participate. Each show features a hand-full of German or other nationals who have nothing to do with the U.S. military. A Chorus Line needs good, strong dancers. If you are male, then perfect!
