Academics welcome - quiet and sunny 1 br. - Berlin

looking for a female academic who needs a quiet and cozy place in berlin. I have a new job in vienna and am renting out most of my apartment from sept. 10 to the end of december (longer stays possible - plz ask).

the apartment has two rooms - I will keep one room as my office, which I will work at when in berlin - usually between 5 and 7 days per month. your room is 20sqm/215sqf has wooden floors, high ceilings and is partly furnished (bed/sofa/chair/table). I can also provide towels and sheets. the kitchen has everything you'll need including a washing machine. essentially you live alone, with me visiting every once in a while.

great for academics who stay in the city. I just wrote a book in here, its that quiet and calm.

the apartment is located in the up-and-coming reuterkiez right at the weichselplatz with its nice little cafes. just outside the door you will find the landwehrkanal and adjoining park (great for jogging and walking) the popular weserstrasse with lots of pubs, the famous turkish market (that is held twice a week), as well as supermarkets and small stores on the sonnenallee are in walking distance. kreuzberg and the görlitzer park area are less then 5 minutes away by foot.

you can access the subway using station rathaus neukölln (U7) or hermannplatz (U7 & U8), also bus M29 and M171 in 3 minutes walking distance.

rent is €365.- per month. internet and all bills are included.

deposit is €250.-.

I am a female academic!!! My name is Zebbie - I am a PhD student in London coming to berlin for 3 months to do some consultancy work in a week or two for the german institute for Economic research. I am in berlin for 3 months, till mid-end of decemeber.

I am very clean and easy going, 28 year old female, Northern Irish/Indian, and studying international politics/conflict resolution. looking to finish up my PhD whilst i am in berlin so a cozy, quiet place sounds perfect!
