HELLO,
My name is Irina, I just turned thirty last month and because the general situation in Romania, me and my boyfriend Petre, decided to leave this country and to go together to Germany so that we can make our future.
I will write here some things about my education and my career for you to be sure that I am the right decision to make about your children’s care. I finished an Art Highschool with a Certificate in Fine Arts and the University College of Schoolmasters, Romanian - English, with “Poetry for kids” graduation paper. After that I had a summer job as an Instructor for an art camp in the mountains, taking care of 15 different age kids from all over our country teaching them how to paint and draw, we had a final exhibition with attendance of political, police, church and administrative personalities. Between 1998 and 2000 I was a teacher for Secondary School (5th to 8th grade). Here I gave Art and Technological Education classes, my students loved me because I was young, creative, stopped at each one and draw with him / her, we had also Culinary Arts classes, we made “bark” cookies together, beuf salad and more. Lovely period, bad paid, with no continuity so that I passed the exam for English teaching, but it was outside town, with no possibility to commute because I was a student. But I didn’t quit! I went as a Sales Assistant in the first glamorous store in our city, a shoe store, “Leonardo”. After six months I became a Shift Manager, and worked there for five years and two months in total. I left because I new that I could do better than that, I got the position of Store Manager for “Only for You” clothing store, stood there one year and two months because they didn’t respect any of the agreements in the contract. In the same month that I left Only, I was accepted as a Store Manager for “New Life Drugstores”, a real nice israelian concept of drugstore, selling selective perfume, make – up, skin care, intimate care, oral care, baby care, textile, accessories and medicine. Here I had the opportunity to speack in English with the Operational Manager from head office. Now the situation in the store is crucial, we didn’t receive merchandise (perfumes, make-up, medicine) for a year and a half now. This store just survived, every day I have to decide that one or two shelves are useless and we take it to the warehouse split in peaces. Once the warehouse was full of merchandise, today it’s full of iron peaces. I invested in this for two years and a half and I am seeing it coming to the end, each day I have to tell to the people in the store bad information about earning or attending work. It’s enough for everybody! Too bad that in this crises time we can’t find a reasonable job!
That’s all with work experience, here are some things about my family: I have a 24 years old sister, Silvia, very talented in hand making joules, Store Manager in a clothing store, takes care of her by her own, living with our dog. My mother, Mariana, 53 this month, is now in Munchen taking care of her aunt’s mother. We have relatives there, her cousin and his wife and two kids live there, another aunt also. We were there to visit in March this year and we loved it, went to visit Munchen and surroundings one whole Sunday from 10 to 18. My father, Virgil, soon 54, is an international cartoonist, now retired. There is a good level of communicating, sensitivity, reliability, we are happy to have each other! And we also have an gorgeous black and white English Cocker Spaniel, Bella, 9 years old.
Now, when I am writing to you, Silvia and Petre, age almost 28 J, are making pancakes. About Petre, we met eight years ago, we worked together for two years and after that we decided that we belong to each other. He is now working as a Quality Engineer at Dacia – Renault for three years now.
I and my sister practiced our English few years ago when we hosted two Peace Corps volunteers from Massachusetts and Vermont , each for three months during the summer. About communicating with the kids, I printed some German language classes, I studied German for four years from 5th to 8th grade, but didn’t practice. Now, reading those internet pages I realized that I didn’t forget everything.
Looking forward for some other information about your family, I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello,
The job role and important role you are offering as part of your family is something I am really interested in so I will first tell you about myself.
My name is Mitchell Powell, I am a 23 year old male who has recently graduated from university study here in England.
My biggest experience valuable to your family would be my time working at an all-boys sport summer camp in the USA. I have completed 2 Summer contracts with this camp during the summers of 2008 and 2009 working from June until the beginning of September.
Within this job I was working with children from the age of 5 Years old up until the age of 16 Years old. More specifically I was stationed as a live-in counselor on the younger side, working with children from the age of 7 till 11 Years old. This role included 24 Hour care and attention for the 10 Boys that I was living with for the duration of the camp.
This role included several responsibilities-:
* Making sure each child had enough and suitable laundry for the days activities.
* Making sure a high level of hygiene was kept for each child. Making sure the children had regular showers, teeth were brushed, clothes were changed as and when needed.
* Making sure each child attended each meal at camp and ensuring they were eating enough so they were happy and so there body could be fully energised for the days activities.
* Making sure you were always available to help the child ensuring he had no problems, knew where he was meant to be at any time of day and ensuring that he was most importantly having fun!!!
The job also included other responsibilities which you can expect from working with children in a role like this but would be too many to list on a post here. I enjoyed every second of this job and especially not just being responsible for the childrens well-being but also being able to join in with the children at there activities and anything they wanted to do and prove myself as a good role model to them. Also you mention being able to "handle-them" as a requirement for your role, I can assure you there were many times at this camp where this ability was learnt and refined in a positive way.
I have also cared and babysat for relatives in my family and have found it to be a very rewarding role for me. At all the times I have been working with children it is always the child's interest and well-being that is put first and I find satisfaction in doing this.
Language? I am a Native English speaker and it has been my main language of use from birth. I am also currently studying a German course at my local town college and also for a year at University lived with a German woman from Frankfurt so I am familiar with German used in a day to day setting.
I would be happy to answer any more questions you would have about me or anything else.
I can be contacted at the following email: mitchjwuk@hotmail.com
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi there,
My name is Mary and I am a 21 year old girl from Bellingham, WA (north of Seattle about 1.5 hrs). I´ve been living here in Munchen since the beginning of June working for a tour company. Since the season of tourism is slowing down, I am currently looking for something else that can get me through the winter. I will be staying here through next year, so if this is something that works out well, I would be around to stay. I have multiple experiences with taking care of children, and it is one of my favorite things to do.
If this job is still available, please let me know, and I can provide you with more information about myself. I hope to hear from you soon Cheers!!
