Hi, does any body know or have any idea about Burger King offering bacon cheeseburgers in Jordan?
If they really are offering such tasty food, can someone direct me their branch in Amman that does so.

Thanks,

woof.

Presumably there's a story behind this as their website says they do.

Actually scratch that, the website doesn't mention the bacon.

Anyway, what's the story as you presumably knew this?

BD is mocking the halal KFC thread. BTW, how is that different than asking where to get good curry in Germany?

Ah, I see. Hilarious. Thanks for clarifying. I'll go back to not reading anything again, it's easier.

because BK in Jordan gives you a free pile of rocks with each Happy Infidel meal.

I'm glad to find out this was a wind up.... BD was scaring me there for a minute.

If you'd prefer the intellectual discussion, we can have a nice little dialog about why it's perfectly acceptable for someone to expect a business in a foreign country to cater to his religious whims and provide for a particular dietary wish while at the same time using that exact same excuse to deny someone else a particular dietary wish.

Or we can both just agree that Billy Connolly isn't nearly as funny as he still thinks he is.

As long as they serve rootbeer they can leave away the bacon.

More worrying is people didn't spot it's a windup.

Billy Connolly is the least funny person on the planet. Really laughing for half an hour at the 'joke' you can't get out because you're laughing too much isn't humour.

You're right, it is BD after all.

So every meal eh? So I assume supplies not limited then...

I know a Thai restaurant in Bad Kreuznach that does an awesome duck curry...
(and it's the only place i've been at so far where they didn't mess up the Sate for the precursor!)

I wonder if someone would get a similar reaction when asking if a restaurant offers kosher food.

Most Western countries also like to think of themselves as more liberal, tolerant, and open-minded than Muslim countries, so I personally think it makes perfect sense for a Muslim to get halal food in Germany while a German may have a hard time getting pork in a Muslim country. And asking if this-and-this is the case because they heard about it from someone is hardly expecting something.
