Series of ads depicting Hitler having sex - Germany

There's a new advert coming out showing a couple having sex. The guy's face is blurred out until the end when the viewer discovers that it's Hitler.

The tagline is "AIDS is a mass murderer" and the ad's timed to coincide with World AIDS Day on December 1st. Suggestive posters of Saddam Hussein and Stalin will follow, but Hitler's the only one in the TV ads.

Thoughts?

Well they say all publicity is bad publicity but I can't see this one doing anything but causing a huge storm an people missing the message.

You would need all of Mt. Rushmore in the U.S. to symbolize the systematic murder of the Native Americans. Of course it's meant to shock, and of course some of the denser members of the populace won't get it. Great campaign.

Come on.. After all he's (was) the Füher. I'm sure he could pull any chick he wanted.
Perhaps she's a slapper, and hasn't turned around yet to see who it is..

I think it's not a bad idea; it certainly grabs your attention for a worthwhile message, however not so well thought through; HIV/AIDS doesn't discriminate whereas Hitler was fairly picky about who he wanted to get rid of.

Yeah, that WWF ad is just totally in bad taste.

Well, as bad as 9/11 was, I think it is pertinent to point out that there are far graver threads to a lot of poor people and that It would be good if some poeple would spent the money and energy they spent hunting some attention seeking muslim youth cat and mouse around the world killing hundreds of thousands on the way on actually helping them.

That's a very good point. You'd think that the German ad makers would have thought of that.
