Is there ANY life in the Emsland?

We are a young couple from the UK who have just moved to the Lingen, Emsland, and are looking for some good people to meet up with for coffee, drinks, walks, bike rides etc...

I know there's tons of people in Osnabrueck, but is there any of you in the Emsland/Grafschaft Bentheim? Lingen, Meppen, Haseluenne, Bad Bentheim, Nordhorn...?

We love music, biking, culture, waling, nature, cooking, baking...Open for everything in fact...
