Just curious, Dan, what's up with this meetup.com thing? This is the second post like this I've seen in two days, the first of which I was interested in but cannot be bothered to get involved with yet another social networking site (for lack of a better term). The other post, like this one, didn't include some fairly essential info. How many web sites do we need to get a damn beer?

I don't see any harm in cross referencing the various ex-pat groups around here. A lot of people here are members of TT, Frankfurt-n-Motion, Meetup.com, Mainz Wiesbaden Yahoo, Frankfurt Ski Club, etc. I post TT meetups on the other sites too.
