Taunus Mountainbike Tour

Thought I might take advantage of the late summer sun and organise a short tour (2 hours or so) for those who want to enjoy or get to know the Taunus. You will need a decent standard of fitness but I will not leave anyone behind!

Basic idea is to meet at Koenigstein Bahnhof and make our way from there up through Falkenstein and on up to the Hochkoenig and some great views of Frankfurt. After that we will head down to Fuchstanz (for refreshments) with the option after that to either head back down or (for the fit) to make the second climb up to the Feldberg.

Let me know if you are interested (otherwise I will just do it on my own ).

Do you have a date in mind? I might be interested if it is 26/27th September I can't make any weekend before that though.

I am not a very confident mountain biker but since I am running a marathon in 2 weeks am definitely fit enough to keep up.
