Walking distance: Christophstr. to Überlingen Bf

Help me with this predicament

fed.m.ang
Hi guys! I need help!

I'm currently residing in Karlsruhe and I am attending a piano concert on Sept. 20 at Kursaal Christophstraße 2b, Überlingen. The concert starts at 17:00 and I have the slightest idea when it ends. And so, when I booked for the tickets, I chose the CHEAPEST and LATEST return trip back to Karlsruhe WITHIN THE DAY. Unfortunately, this return trip starts at 18:30 and I'm pretty sure the concert will take at the very least two hours to finish. Here are the details of the return trip:

Christophstr. Bus 1 leaves at 18:32, arrives at Überlingen Busbahnhof at 18:54, then walk towards
Überlingen Bf Train RB22774 leaves at 19:13, arrives at Radolfzell at 19:40... and so on...

So the train from Überlingen leaves at 19:13 and I saw on Google maps that Christophstr. and Überlingen Bf. are just about 8-10 minutes walking distance away. Am I right in understanding that it is possible for me to leave the concert at 19:00 the latest and still get on the RB22774 train?

Is this overkill or what?

Thank you so much!!!Attached image

anyone?

Don't know the area, but i'd leave minimum 15 minutes earlier on principle.

I wouldn't bother with the bus either on arrival or departure. Also, I would stick to the main roads - Wiestorstrasse, Franziskanerstrasse & Christophstrasse. I live near the Kursaal and walked the route, at a reasonable pace it took 8 minutes. So you should be fine if you leave at 19:00.

You should note that the Kursaal is on the lake side (on your left) just after the join of Christophstrasse and Klosterstrasse (behind the Bad Hotel).

Enjoy the concert.

Are you sure the departure time of the train is correct? AFAIAA there is no train to KA at 19.13. Instead there is one which departs at 19.34 and another at 20.25. Both arrive in KA before midnight.

Does this ease your problem?

20:10 actually, arrives 00:05, RB+RE. There's also one that leaves at 20:45 and arrives 01:36, last connection of the day.

Don't see any at 20:25 ... and the one at 19:13 goes to Singen, with layover time there.

@ Kato
It looks like you might be confusing the DB weekday timetable for Überlingen > KA with the DB Sunday timetable, which is different.

(But as the OP has not made any further reply, the matter is probably academic ...)

thank you so much for your replies kato, UbMike, and Heathclyffe! The ticket I bought from DB (Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket) clearly states that there is a returning RB22774 from Überlingen. But it wont go directly to Karlsruhe. I have to change trains at Radolfzell. Very informative replies and now I'm prepared to go and see the Bodensee. Vielen Dank!!!

I assume you're going to hear Schumanns "Ahnung". Hope you enjoy it!

Yes, I am and is very excited about it! Quite a fan of German classical music composers, notably Brahms, Beethoven and Schumann. The fact that I'm hearing Ahnung for the first time makes this concert extra special to me. Wish me luck tomorrow! Hope to get there and back home safe. Again, thank you so much for all your inputs!
