Does anyone know of any? I would love to meet people from all over, but I have been in Dresden for 5 months, and have seen very little Latins. Any ideas of where to find these groups? Also, I am starting up my private Mexican Catering Services, so if anyone is interested in authentic Mexican Meals (I have been to 2 so called Mexicanish Rest. and this is clearly not Mexican food) for small or medium size gatherings shoot me an email!! Gracias~ Malina

on thursdays at espitas in gruna a friend of mine plays music, thay have a buffet. i think the food somehow tastes better than at the one in neustadt but you do not find mexican like you find in the US. I still find a lot of there food to be ok. Even if it is not what i expected

here you can order some things like chili powder and dried chilis as well as canned ones that may be hard to find elseware. oh and across the check border you can buy 12 inch flour tortillias with tomato chipitole flavor for about 1 euro at the interspar in teplice.

Hey Guys! Thanks for the feedback I am trying to become part of the latin competition around here, and hope that even my small ideas come out BIG! I have been to El Mercadito, and I understand that there is seldom "authentic" ingredients, however most of the prices at that place should be considered HIGHWAY ROBBERY! At the end of this month I will post up my personal Monthly Menu, and feature some "authentic" dishes and see what comes out of it. I have placed orders for specific mexican spices, and do my own pepper planting here in Dresden. Please let your friends know!! 2 of the items will be Sin City Breakfast Tacos, and Puerco (Pork) Pibil (Yucatan Recipe) made from scratch, on top of spanish rice.
Thanks again!!!

Hi Malina,
I'm from Texas and I know hoy you feel about the lack of Mexican food here. I've taken to making my own homemade tortillas and I'm even growing some jalapenos. I've been here for a year and a half and I've really had to start fending for myself. Let me know if you have any questions about whats going on in Dresden.

Hello Chavee!
Can't go wrong with home made tortillas! What part of TX are you from, and what brought you to Dresden? Thank you for your offer. Do you know if there are any good Live Jazz venues around here, or close to Dresden? What are some of your favorite places to visit on weekends?
Can I ask what type of Environment you work in? I am trying to get my name out there, and as I mentioned before get a menu out to cater to medium size groups (offices, parties, or small events). That is why I ask Hope to hear from you again soon.
