Myself and FNinBW played badminton few week back and it was fun.

We are looking for more interested people who can join us.
We normally plays on Sunday at Badminton Center in Mannheim.

It costs 13EUR for a court for an hour.

We should be playing on Sunday at 12. Let me know if you're interested!

Aye, I'm interested! - I don't have a racquet just yet, I'll look for one tomorrow or on Sat. Just in case I can't find one I like, d'you happen to have a second racquet?

Oy this one is much farther out .... D'you know if there's an easy way to get there by public transport / bike? How do you get there?

If you are traveling by public transport, you have two ways to reach there.
1) Tram Line 5 till Neuostheim, from there number 50 bus till Neckarau, Im Morchhof, then 2 mins walking.
2) Tram Line 1 till Neckarau - Friedrichstraße, from there number 50 bus from other side till Neckarau, Im Morchhof, then 2 mins walking.

Well, that was a pity...the badminton centre being closed even though we had courts reserved Turns out the other courts were open - I ran into a few people going there.

It wasn't a complete waste of time though, biking there and back; I did get a good ride in and also found a nice Italian restaurant

Yeah, not sure why they were closed... it said on the door that they're closed from Saturdays from now on. Are there some other badminton courts near there then? Glad it wasn't a completely wasted trip! Hopefully next time!

I think they might have been going to the other courts that you had originally mentioned - y'know - the ones up near Luisenpark? I was already in Schwetzinger Vorstadt when I ran into them.... but I could be mistaken - perhaps there are another set of courts in the area that we don't know about.

Btw.. have either you or Vinil attended any of the TT meetups? Any interest in doing so? There's one happening Friday next and consider this an invite

It's this Friday incidentally. It was "next Friday", last week In any case, no worries if you can't make it this friday. You might have received the invite via Facebook anyway ;-)
