Clubnight: David Morales at Park Cafe - Munich

Hi All,

I just wanted to flag for all those clubbers out there that David Morales will be in town on the 16th of April. He is playing at the Park Cafe (which is a decent venue for a dance filled night).

I'm new to Munich and haven't seen much to shout out about as of yet. Park Cafe the Gay nite was good, like Woanders as a venue (but want to see a good party crowd there), went to Garden club for Eric Prydz who played a good set but the crowd were lame...but I'm sure all those dancing freaks and gouls should make an effort when a God comes in to town.

PS. you can buy your tickets in advance at nachagenten (or something like that)...it would be advised to do so...

PS. Best club in Frankfurt 2001 to 2003 was Monza...blinding club...small great music and lot of dancing and ...(where is the monza in Munich that's my questions?).

What's 8saison like they've got some house nites coming-up? Do the people dance or just watch people dance...

you lucky were in Frankfurt, did you ever visit the Cocoon club, cause that's the place where THE DJ Sven Väth himself is resident.

8 season is more for meeting nice girls or just watch them dance rather than to listen to the music. I've been twice in Juke&Joy parties there -read Jukebox&NoJoy parties- and the music is more or less like take the top20 from all lists + some hitsforever and shake them and throw that out every time in the same order -that's where the jukebox comes from. As a social event however the parties are great and that's the place -together with Reitschülle- where one can get even lucky

Hooneys...Sadly, I'm in a relationship - so not allowed any more single excursions out hunting down women...but saying that I'm still allowed to look...!!!

As for Cocoon, as I was in the process of leaving Frankfurt when it opened up and didn't go becoz the club-scene-leute said it was nice styled club but was too big and would attract the wrong crowd*.

Months afterwards, I saw loads of cars (on Hanoverlandstrasse) from out -of-towners coming in to party at the FAMous club that costs 20Euros to get in!!!...

Funnily enuff we were talking about Cocoon the other day as a bunch of Munich clubbers partyed there and appeared in Prinz. My girlfriend said the club king in ffm put up the money to stroke the ego of Sven Fait...so all in all - not much going on there I think.

* ffms house scence can't sustain too big clubs - they attract the wrong crowd quicly.

8 seasons is very good for talent, but if you ever wanted to pull one of those girls be prepared to flash your cash. (so that counts me out then)

Probably the best club in Munich right now is Harry Klein in The Optimol Galende near Ostbahnhof. Its small and packed every weekend with a great dj booking policy. At the end of this month, they have Dj Koze playing, which will be a road block.

Thanks for the info. As for great talent, I've worked in Banking in Frankfurt and tried playing that game...buying champagne not only is it boring but it doesn't work...well not for me.

I tried Harry Klein but didn't get in - I think we were a little too late (at 6 in the morning). I wasn't sure if Harry Klein could work as a club/house venue being in the middle of such cheese but I think that I'll give it another go.

Here's to cheap maintenance beautiful girls not in 8saisons...where every you are there's a bottle of Cava waiting for you...(Champagne is so passe!)...
