I'm definite for the Rama and 98% certain for Splots too. Oh, is Splots at the north or sound end of Donnersberger Straße?

Splots is slightly nearer the Arnulfstr (Tram 16 17) than Rotkreutplatzs (U1, Tram 12, Bus 53 etc)

I'm 100% for Rama. When will that take place? There's some loose talk about 7:30 or 8:00, but is there a definite time? Is a table reserved? Am I being too orderly? Am I asking too many questions? Well, why shouldn't I? Don't I have the right? What's wrong with questions? Has anyone ever been hurt by too many questions? They have? Do you have proof? You do? Where did you read that? Is that really a reliable source? Can it be corroborated? It can? So that's your proof, is it? You're saying I should stop? And just what will you do if I don't? You wouldn't really do that, though would you? Are you really that sort of person? Where did you get that? Do you have to wave it around like that? Is that safe? Why won't you put it down? Will you leave me alone if I stop asking questions? You will? Alright then.

Anyway, reservation's made for 8pm at Rama, it was for 8 people so far but I'm obviously going to have to up it.

It looks like the weather won't be good enough for the beer garden so it's Splots for pre-drinks. Haven't reserved there should be OK from 6-ish.

If you want to come along I'm sure you'll find us. There's a lot of Toytowners working or living in the the wild wild north-west of Toytown and even if you don't: EVERYONE is welcome!

I'm taking my cat to the clinic tomorrow and depending on how I feel might join you at Rama. Time?

I take it that it is the south end then? I'm at work now and the TT map won't load on this PC but I'm sure it didn't have tram numbers indicated on the map so I'm still none the wiser when trams/bus' are mentioned!

16 & 17 tram stop near the Mercedes Benz Munich HQ on Arnulfstr. (i.e. under the start of the Donnersberger Brücke, not the Trappentreustr./Elixia side).
KM you could get the S-Bahn to Donnersberger Brücke and then either walk towards the Mercedes Benz-side, cross over the Mittler Ring (ring road/Landshuter Allee) and then into Donnersbergerstr. Or get the 33 or 66 buses from the S-Bahn down to Donnersbergerstr. if the rain is too bad (it is about a 1min bus trip).
NOTE: due to the building work in Donnersbergerstr. (underground parking for residents and the repair of a partly collapsed building) the road is blocked a third of the way up. If you are coming up from the S-Bahn/Arnulfstr./Tram 16 or 17 stop, please stay on the lefthand side of the street (side where BioCorner is, not the Cat Stuff Shop). Parking and through access will be restricted in the area between Schlörrstr. and Arnulfstr. so please use the sidestreets (e.g. Schulstr.).
For those coming down from Rotkreuzplatz, access is as usual.

Splotts is...have I got this right...as you look at the big ugly Kaufhof building on the right, you wlak down that stret then its 500m on the left, gel?

Aye Jeremy, as you look at Kauhhof across Rotkreutzplatz, head left down Donnersbergerstr and it's about 500M down on the right hand side heading south.

I shall as usual be wearing a pin striped suit and a carnation and carrying a copy of today's Daily Telegraph!

Just look for the loud people telling dirty jokes in English or something, you can't fail to spot a Neuhausen Night Out!

Now I can see some Neuhausen Night Out Virgins reading this thread - come along, all are welcome, it is really a friendly (sometimes too friendly) night out, very relaxed and S'plotts does sell the full Augustiner range so pop in just for a non-commital Halbes if you fancy it or indeed for a very tasty curry at Rama (as tested and approved by the TTM curry night).

Feeling a bit better about my cat so will come to Rama - don't worry if you haven't included me in the reservation - if it doesn't work out I'll just get myself a nice hot spicy takeaway ... c u later.

Flippin cheek it was - I've been going in there for 9 years, never had a problem, and suddenly it's "you people never pay your bills".
I'll stick to Radha from now on when I want a nice local curry, sod 'em.

Do you like paying 1 euro each for papadam? Enjoy your curry extra mild? Fancy waiting around 45 minutes to settle your bill only to have to insist that, indeed, the waiter is trying to charge us for 6 extra helles? (The two extra Weissbier was not an issue- apparently some people have limits to their shame.) Well, you're in luck. There is a curry house that can accomodate all of that and more. However, there is a downside: it seems that they always have trouble with "this group". Well, I hate to be the cause of a restauranteur's sleepless nights, so after I finish posting this rant, I intend to let the proprieters of Rama know via e-mail that I'll not cause them any further worry. I'll not set foot in there again, and I will recommend that all other members of "this group" not go there either. Perhaps we could all inform them that our unpleasant patronage will no longer be a problem to further ease their stress. It's a shame there aren't any other Indian restaurants in Munich to visit, because I sure do enjoy... hang on ... I seem to recall that there ARE other Indian restaurants in town. Well, this looks like a winning proposition all around! I'll not go to Rama and they'll never have to see me again!

Well, aside from the last hour it was a fantastic evening and, as always, the society was second to none. On on to Tandoori tomorrow night. A local curry for local people.
