I just got home too, KM you beat me wink.gif

What was that about the bill? Did someone end up paying for extra beer? Did everyone show the waiters our 'slip' sytem?

Foodwise - Chicken Korma - nice, nothing special, nothing awful. Onion bhaji - interesting presentation - loose bits of onion strings, not in ball form, tasted ok.

Service - totally fine at the beginning, though it took them 30 mins to bring a sweet lassi (which then tasted like toilet cleaner, but when the waiter noticed it 'undrunk' (not drunk? undrunken?)at the end, he didn't charge us for it either).

But paying was just taking the piss - asking 3 times to pay is a *bit* much, making me miss 2 SBahns (work early tomorrow) rather annoyed me, so minimal tip from my side.

Grrr.

Anyway off to bed.

Oh, company wise - thumbs up smile.gif Nice to meet Grtho finally, and Jeremy, and Seb welcome to Munich!

Very simple told waiter we hadnt had, and he seemed shocked we all had bits of paper with stuff on... and then boss was muttering and stuff. Suddenly find my german and mutter stuff back smile.gif And then when we all just stare and raise our voices, much to the amusement of the othertables they go away. As we left they had gone behind to the kitchen (probably to find their big knives or something)

Wont be going there again. Back to the Sitar next time

I forgot to say, when Erik and I paid our bill, the waiter had left off the onion bhajis, and had to add them on, so the bill obviously was confused and can't have been 100% correct. They didn't complain or thank us when we told them about the bhajis though, we could have lied and gyped them out of extra money!

Thanks to all that came, was great to see you all.
Some highlights:
Saying "what the hell" to Jeremy! laugh.gif
Erik's bike
Meeting the very lovely seb
Banter and beer and skittles with the Neuhausen Familiars
Chocolate made with red wine from Wein und Genuss (the new porno chocolate bar none)
Some lowlights:
Rama - what can I say which hasn't already been said? I feel *black affronted* (Dumfries term for insulted and disgusted). Rama will not be seeing any of my cash ever again and I was a regular there (shown by them remembering my usual orders). Being called "you people" doesn't say "hurry back" to me.

I can still taste creme egg! smile.gif Luvely! smile.gif

Luckily the usual excellent crowd made it into yet another great night out!! smile.gif

To all of you:

I cannot tell you how nice it was to meet you after so long, to start to put faces to names. What the hell!

I got home, unchained my wife from the stove and sat down to a full plate of "Pinkelstinker" spargel. I then spent the evening crawling on the floor under the table and singing "Yellow Submarine" on the guitar to my daughter. Unfortunately a few verses in my wife couldn't handle it and I had to stop! sad.gif

Sounds like the curry place was shite. I can only recommend the place I was in with Grinner and KingsTown last week - Tandoori (U1 Frauenhoferstrasse) aka the New New Delhi.

Great to meet you guys last night! Shame about the crap at the end of the night though...but we showed 'em!

Looking forward to the next one!!!

@Jeremy

The TT curry night is at the Tandoori tonight! I've put my name down but I'm not 100% certain yet, not been feeling too good this week.

@seb

Good to see you!
jeremy
@all of you:

I can not recommend highly enough the Tandoori for you tonight. I can't make it as I babysit for my wife's night out but Ram is a brilliant host.

Just to add that Splots was fantastic!

Friendly staff, good beers, got THREE glasses of free tap water, all very friendly.
We got a table and just remindly gently and discretely once that they needed it back by 8.

The food there is top too!

Certainly WELL recommended! cool.gif
