Memo
I had it up to here with my job. I love my company, I love the people I work with, but I hate the job!

I think it's time for a career change but I really don't know which way to go (sounds dangerous, I know). Therefore, I think it might help if I got some career counselling, do some aptitude tests, that kind of thing. I am going to give Assessment.com a try to get a general idea, but I prefer something more detailed than an online test.

Does anyone know of any place in Munich that might actually help? I tried to Google it, but what I found was not what I was looking for.

Cheers

P.S.: TexasTornado, if you read this, I know we discussed it wink.gif

not sure but IHK maybe?

you could also look up "Berufsberatung" in the Muenchner Branchenbuch...call up the numbers and ask if they offer what you're looking for.

wasn't much of help I'm afraid...best of luck

I was in the same situation a few years ago and a counsellor friend of mine suggested the book "What colour is your parachute?"
I went out and bought and it helped me a lot. You're welcome to borrow my copy if you like, PM me.

Another recommendation for that book from me - I like my job, it's just my Brotgeber that drives me bananas...

yeah, I've got that book (showem lent me her copy) and I've got the book "Do what you are" that gives advice based on the MBTI personality types.

I'd really like to talk to a real, live person, though sad.gif

Though I have the German version and never got through it. Even though my German is pretty spiffy, sometimes it's better to think these things out in your first language. I went through the original in High School - can't remember the results, but I'm here now, so it must have done some good ..

Ask Shaggy.. He is a Coach. He might be able to help you figure out what you want to do and how to get there.
