So I would say that if the definite numbers firm up 2 days before the trip, we could organise a visit to the brewery (seeing as you don't have to pay in advance).

OK, I am a definite NO for this event.
Sadly I will be working all weekend. Poor me
I've been to the brewery and it's not that exciting. I really don't want to go again. Isn't there anything else to see?

Well we actually hired a car and decided to do some much needed household shopping instead.
It was kind of like 'Hmm spend money we don't have on a day trip for beer or spend money we don't have on much needed household goods.'
It was a tough call though
(My foot ain't up to sightseeing yet and would just be taking a long train ride to drink beer)
Yeah, I think I'll be skipping this too. I'm wanting to save my dosh to run away to Costa Rica. (latest fantasy)

Think I won't make it either. Moving house (finally) and need to do up the place a bit, lots of logistics. But if the weather improves and I change my mind, will PM one of the "oldies" here...

It seems that a lot of people have dropped out of the trip to Pilsen over the last few days.
I love the Czech Republic but I've never spent more than a couple of hours in Plisen despite being there every few weeks. However I'd really like us to have a larger group going so sorry, I want to wait for a date that is better for more people. You can never satisfy everyone with a date but it seems that the orignal group has shrunk to nothing.
I'd still like to do a daytrip or overnighter sometime in the summer to Pilsen.
We chose that as it is fairly close to Munich and available on the SW Ticket.
For those Toytowners who haven't been there or would like to go again, I'd also recommend to you a long weekend in the "Golden City" of Prague but seriously suggest now that you wait until Autumn.

I agree grtho! Katrina and I won't be going now either, but perhaps we can rearrange a new date for Plzen in the not too distant future!

The Prague trip was also canceled due to lack of people...
Some suggested A pilsen day trip, so this trip was setup...
(Back on March 31)
It seems like people are willing to sign-up to go, but then always drop-off at the last minute... If this trip were only planned a week or so ago
I'd understand, but it's been planned for for over 1 month now...
If people want to go they will, if not they plan other things and drop out,
thats their right, but at this rate there will never be a daytrip anywhere
(Unless its within 1-2 hr of munich and involves beer and/or bikes)
Now that that is said.. who IS STILL PLANNING TO GO this weekend?
Katrina

Not me. I'll wait for the rescheduled date.

Also spoke with Katrina about this last night. Decided that as there seemed only about 5 of us up for it, was really only worth doing as a day trip, so prob best to postpone when more peeps can go and do an over-nighter. Besides, next weekend is the long weekend and I'd rather do something then (can't practically do both). Sorry, didn' realise that when I first signed up.
But please, let's reschedule Pilsen for the not too distant future...i.e. before I leave Munich in the summer!!!

With only 5 people, it would only cost 30 Eur (6 Eur Ea) per person...
Can't beat that price..

Yeah it's a great deal. But for me it's not the money. I just can't manage 2 weekends away in a row (1 being a long weekend) time-wise what with being busy with work at the mo.

Probably too late for you all now, but I'm driving to and from Prague this weekend (gf lives there), and could drop you off / pick you up in Pilsen tonight / sunday night if you wanted. (or travel all the way and stay in Prague).
Send me a PM , or reply here before 15:30 today if you are interested.
