Is it true that KaDeWe has closed? - Berlin

It belongs to Acandor as far as I know, but I don't think it will be closed.

Two of my friends work there. It's not closing down, I'm not sure where you heard that rumor....

KaDeWe is part of the Karstadt premium group which is being run as a separate entity from the Karstadt chain. As far as I am aware there are no plans to close either KaDeWe, Alsterhaus or Oberpollinger, but a takeover by a third party would seem more likely.

All 3 of them are to be sold as a group, not individually as first planned, but they are going to be sold.
