Monaddrei is based in two locations in Hamburg, Germany, where we provide an integrated education
for 40 children in nursery (age 1 1/2 to 3), 72 children in elementary (age 3 to 6) and 40 children in afterschool
care (age 6 to 12). The groups consist of children of different age. For the children and their

Kindergarten teacher/ educator with Montessori diploma and a diploma to work with
special needs children

Hi

I won't be in Hamburg until January 2010 but was interested in this postion. I have been and am currently a preschool teacher here in the states. I enjoy my job and would love to continue doing so while in Germany. I have my Associate Degree (2 year college degree) in Early Childhood Education and have a lof of experience with children. I do speak some German (enough to carry and understand small conversations) and am interested in improving my German.

I don't have a work permit yet and am not exactly sure how to obtain one...but I am interested in this job if possible. Please get back to me if you are and possibly will need someone at that time. Danke Schoen

Why, does anyone know, do they require someone to have a Montessori education? Just curious...

It is a Montessori school- hence needing to have an education in the Montessori way of teaching before being able to teach there.

Right, I guess I originally read it as the instructor need to have been a student at a Montessori school. Sorry, but thanks for the answer!
