I want to take one of my classes out for Christmas lunch. As they all work up near Frankfurter Ring, does anyone have a suggestion for a good place for a nice lunch? The place we wanted to go to is booked out.

Goloseo - a small Italian restaurant on Ingolstadterstrasse (10 mins walk from the U-Bahn), next to the Leierkasten brothel. Excellent little place. Although not suitable for a group of more than about 10. Always packed with top totty, all of whom are well dressed cos they work at the Fashion Textiles place opposite. You absolutely have to reserve though cos it's always busy.

Failing that there is a Chinese, right at the top of Leopoldstrasse - just on the inner side of the Frankfurter Ring. Nothing special, but perfectly acceptable. Don't know the name, sorry, so not much help I suppose.

There is also a fairly new place which is opened in the new office blocks on Frankfurter Ring opposite the Mercedes dealers. Again, I don't know the name. So not much point bothering to tell you I suppose. Although you could ask your co-workers. Seeing as they work around there they will probably know. All the office workers go here for lunch.

Well, top totty is low on the priority list, but good restaurants are acceptable, no matter the clientele. Thanks for the tips. Any others?

there is a place called 'theatron' in milbertshofen, about 5 mins walk from frankfurter ring U-Bahn (back down knorrstr? towards town)

there is also another place called 'bluchers' (or some such) close by towards schleissheimerstr... on the corner of korbinenstr and keferloherstr. (maybe not spelt correctly)

they both do top grub...

both are the standard munich beer, burgers, schnitzel type of joint... you can't go wrong...
