Steel piping suppliers in Bavaria

Hello all!

I've just recently moved to Straubing in Niederbayern, and I need your help! I am an engineer working in a factory here in Straubing. The factory was built over the past two years, but all the parts were sourced from various places around the world, and the firm who originally built the place went bust last year, at which point my firm bought the place and took over everything.

We currently have lots of plans to keep adding modules and buildings over the next few years, and will be investing a very large amount of money in this plant. However, we are currently having lots of problems trying to find efficient local suppliers for certain items. The most pressing of these at the moment is pipework. We need to install new pipes everywhere, but currently have waiting times of 2 - 4 weeks before we can get the stuff that we need delivered. Examples include pipes, flanges, elbows etc made from Carbon steel, Stainless 304L (V2A)or Stainless 316L (V4A), in all sizes from 50mm to 800mm.


We have tried asking other local factories if they can recommend any suppliers, but have not yet had any luck. Our aim is to find at least two or three efficient, competitive firms who will be able to supply us with what we need, ideally within a day or two of placing the order. These firms will be required for all of our emergency repairs, and will also be preferred suplliers for our larger projects.
