Native English-speaking au pair needed - Munich

Single-mother with 8 year old girl is looking for a native English speaking au pair to start asap. You would be mainly needed for after-school-care from 4 or 5 pm but should still be flexible. Your duty would be to take care of the girl (every second weekend as well) and the rabbit/s. You shouldn’t mind to use a broom now and then and give a hand with housework. There is no heavy housework required as there is a cleaning lady hired as well. So you see there is not too much to do. You are our perfect au pair if you are a fun, lively and creative girl able to find new activities for the daughter ever and ever again. You should be willing to join travelling (when needed) and should not be scared to work for an entire weekend all by yourself (rarely needed but might happen).

My name is Claire Brotherston and I am currently living at home in Scotland and I am very interested in this post. Hi, I've just read your post and I'm interested to know if you are still looking for a nanny. I'm an American, 26 and I'm going to be living in Munich for 5 years while my partner attends medical school here. I naturally find myself looking for nanny positions because my previous work experience has often included working with kids, eg, summer camp consoler, after school program leader and lots of babysitting. I grew up with three siblings who are over 10 years younger than me so it was always normal for me to spend my time playing with kids and understanding with they need from adults, both for fun and protection. I am very interested in your offer, I have worked in child care during intire time while I was in college allmost 5 years.
I have enjoyed working with children mostly becouse I have had a great influence from my mom who is a kindergarten teacher.

I am not a stranger to housework and weekend working is no problem at all. I plan to stay in Germany until September 2010.

I come from Slowenia and I came to Munich to study the language, I live with my cousine in Mosach, 15 min from English garden.
There schould not be any problems whit visa regulationes becous we are full member of EU. I have allready traveld whitaut any problems.

I am not navive english speaker but my english is quite good thanks to my former partner who was an Americam in additian to time spend lesrning english during my entire schooling.
