Well- now that Susanne and I are officially resigned to enjoying this year's Wiesn in absentia, we want to make sure our playlist is current so we can properly celebrate with you all in spirit!

Sooooo, what's the buzz on this year's hot Wiesn songs?

I second Jungle Drum - It was huge after GNTM and still hasn't left. The best part to make it a Wiesn hit is that there are only like 8 words to the song plus "dum de dum" so everyone can sing along, no matter how much they've had to drink!

The above are just a few good reasons to avoid the evening hours in the tents.

I think Bayern 3 is playing "10 meter gehen ..." a couple of times every day, if they keep on playing it on a frequent base, it may be the Wiesn-Hit 2009.

But the real wiesn-hit of 2009 could be this one, it depends on the bands and people. 10 meter gehen is o.k. if you hear it 10 times and can sing along, but the first impression of "20 cm" is much much more amusing.

Sadly I think Siskebap has picked it - "20 cm" has just the right amount of tack and vulgarity to appeal to the Wiesn public. If there are "cute" actions to go with it I predict a winner.

I'll be at Haag on Saturday night and fully expect to hear this.
This song already seems to be going around the regional Fests and has enough of a sing-along bit and room for doing arm actions that I think it could make it this year.
