Forum software upgrade - Friday 7.Aug.2009

As far as I can tell it is a warm and sunny evening across the whole of Germany today. So right now would be a great time to head to a beer garden.

The TT forum is going offline at 7pm for a software upgrade. This is the same upgrade that we attempted, but then aborted, two weeks ago.

The forum should come back online around 11pm tonight. Various stuff will be broken, however, throughout the weekend. By Monday we should be up and running as usual.

As I wipe a tear from my cheek, a tear as liquid diamond, the sun goes down on Broadway, and on TT land. A dark time approaches, gloomy, menacing.

Oh, farewell, good bye, adieu, dear companion. Until we meet again ... sometime, somewhere, over the rainbow, where the bluebirds fly, through and beyond, until we all reach the hallowed TT land (or sweat with 31° C office temperature like me).

OK, we appear to be back online.

As mentioned earlier, please expect lots of things to be broken, and lots of things to not look quite the way they should.

So be gentle.

The problems will be worked through over the course of the weekend.

Right now the PM system is disabled. That is still being upgraded. It should return sometime on Saturday morning.

All your locations currently read "Munich-Schwanthalerhöhe". Please don't adjust your sets. That error will correct itself soon.

I'd rather be in Munich-Schwanthalerhöhe than here, so this has been quite the upgrade already. Nice work.
