Stopping of TT automatic email notifications

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm getting sick of being sent an email every time I get a new PM.

Could anyone tell me how to disable this function?

Go to My Controls and click on E-mail settings on the left hand side, you'll find the option in there to disable it.

Go to the Email settings in your control panel and disable the "Send a confirmation email when I receive a new private message" option.

To unsubscribe from topic and forum notifications, go to Topic subscriptions or Forum subscriptions respectively.

Block everyone on TT so that you don't get any mail.

I keep getting email notification for topics started...i have followed the instructions to unsubscrib, but its not helping..need the emails to stop.thanks

And we now get messages from that nice "eb (at) toytownmunich (dot) com" instead of that nasty "no-reply@toytowngermany.com"

Ok .. I am still receiving emails .. I am following the instructions .. but nothing has changed .. need this to STOP!!! HELP

Are you still seeing the forum subscription(s) in the forum subscriptions list in your control panel? Or is the problem that you unsubscribed and they're not in the list any more, but you still get the mails?

Just what exactly does one get by becoming a subscriber or member or whatever?
