Meetup for newcomers in Wiesbaden

Hi All,
My husband and I are brand new to Wiesbaden and would love to meet some folks. We're both young professionals, no children just yet, and we're thrilled and blessed to be here and want to take FULL advantage. I'm currently without a job, so I'm by myself most of the day and would love someone to go on little adventures with or just meet for lunch. On the weekends we'd love to find people we can check out the night scene with. We're not the bar closing type (anymore but good beer and friends could bring us back! Would love to here from you

I can't make Friday unfortunately due to my weekly commute back to England but there's quite a community of English speakers in Wiesbaden, usually found hanging round in one of the two remaining Irish pubs, Murphy's (formerly know as Scrooges) in Goldgasse or the Irish Pub in Michelsberg. The latter on a Tuesday or Thursday night is usually where you'll find our little crowd!

Also keep an eye out for the Wiesbaden meets up but as our chief organiser Jana has broken her ankle it might be a while until the next one!

Diana - If you are interested in meeting up for coffee one morning next week let me know, I have plans tomorrow, so unfortunately won't be able to make it. We are also young professionals living in Wiesbaden. I work in the afternoons, so mornings work best for me, unless it's a night event!

Jana, we can't go out without you - we'll wait until the all metalwork has been removed and you're mobile again!

I am new to Wiesbaden too. I moved here with my fiance and am currently not working. And do not speak german.
