Jimbo's Big Dutch Night Out - Friday

Jimbo
Hello, my name is Jimbo, and this is my partner, as well as my gay lover Sparty. We are looking to be scoring shome hashish this weekend, but firstly we will be going out to a mega cool dance party also...

Actually, that Dutch joke comes out worse in type than it does verbally, so I'll revert to Hugh Grant mode (thanks Bee Sting - that comment has made my year)...

Munich's new superclub (read: Big room, probably filled with young people copping off with each other) is called 4004, and it opens this Friday. http://www.4004.tv

I'll be going down there with the Dutch TT contingent, and a few other TT'ers, and so any other TT'ers are more than welcome to join us to check the place out - it's brand new, and supposedly 4,000 q/m so it's quite big as well, with a mix of dance music, RnB and of course the German club classic Robbie Williams, there's VIP bars, chilled out bars, and no doubt with the Dutch there, one or two 9-bars as well.

I'll need to eat before all of this frivolity and so I'm going to head down to Bondi at about 7pm to sample their dinner, so feel free to join me in Bondi any time after 7pm. However, since this place will probably be pretty popular I'm aiming to get down there quite soon after they open the doors, so I'll be leaving Bondi at 9pm sharp this week so be there, or see you in 4004...

And for those interested, photos of Jimbo's Big Night Out from last week are at http://www.events.sparty.nl

Smoke me a joint, I'll be back in time for a crepe.

Errr...sorry people, but I'm not going to be able to go to my own big Dutch night out. Pressures of work have suddenly hit me like a speeding freight train without any brakes, and I have realised that this weekend I have to write a paper on UK conveyancing law for Cambs uni and THEN I have to finish off a chapter for some bullshit book on notarial law, again for the UK...

I may go out on Friday night, but I will be home to bed relatively early so I can wake up on Saturday ready to rock n roll in a very legal manner in my dressing gown and slippers whilst tapping bullshit into my laptop.

However, details are above, so somebody else take the reins this weekend, and I'll be back (probably) with one last night out before I fly back to London...to work... sad.gif

What the conscientious lawyer, finally has a conscience!

I have just received a phone call from London...my boss has just spent 160k on an Aston Martin. I will be spending Saturday working my tits off whereas he will be spending his Saturday in Newport Pagnell choosing the leather interior for his new sports car. I am NOT impressed. mad.gif

right well let's just stick to the plan (although I'd be happy to swap Bondi for another bar) and party on friday.

I dunno, I think I might stay at Bondi after last week - don't much fancy another epic trek to another club that may or may not let me in.
Big C
Dunno what others are doing, but I might end up going straight to club now. Dutch people what are you up to? Seeing as this is your night!
sparty
By the looks of it we are going straight to the 4004 later on in the evening.
SparkaHck
OK, I really think I'll skip the club this week - I'm definitely in the mood for a quiet night.

Is anyone still up for a quick drink at Bondi at 9pm?
Jimbo
I think so - perhaps a little earlier than 9, but yeah, I do think a couple of beers would hit the spot. As I said no clubs as up early reading and writing boring stuff about conveyancing... sad.gif

EDIT: Also gonna go to CADU this pm if anybody wants to pop along. Gonna start at about 15:30. PM for handy number if u don't have it and for some reason you want it...
Showem
For someone claiming he's going to be working hard on Saturday, you sure are knocking off early on the Friday.
