Tours for a visiting mom with limited mobility

Well my mom (69 yrs old ) and a friend are coming for 10 days in August. She has two new knees but a bad back so "walking tours" are out. She said she'd like to take a river tour. As we are at the "end" of the rivers I was thinking Chiemsee Prien and a boat tour. Anyone have any other suggestions? Salzberg or Kufstein?

I will have to shuttle her around but am not going touring. My 3 yr old wont find such things very entertaining. Are there shuttles or buses that regularly head to tourist locales?

Day out in the Therme.

Try the Rickshaw bikes I see at Marienplatz and Chinese Tower. It is a bike like device where a the driver/pedaler can take one or two people around. See if tou can strike a deal with the pilot, and away you go...

How about a mountain gondola trip such as the Wendelstein? She could ride up, have a cup of tea, and see the Alps.

Good idea that but take the train. Not far from Kolbermooor either.
