I got a letter from Deutsche Bank today saying I've applied for something : Bundeszuschusse. I had expenses coming off so know I've gone over my overdraft, but what exactly does this word mean? Will call them first thing tomorrow but has anyone had this? What's the repercussions?

Bundes refers to federal government. Zuschuss is subsidy.
So, it looks like they are informing you about some kind of government subsidies (probably for pension contributions).

A Bundeszuschuss is a "federal subsidy". Did you recently apply for some kind of private pension scheme (
Riester etc)?
