Hi, need some help with an accurate translation of this inscription from 1500. It is on a sarcophogus carving/statue of Christ.

"In Frieden ist seine Stätte Bereitet und seine Wohnung in Zion"

The German sentence is, as indicated by Sarabyrd, a quote from an old Catholic prayer spoken in the moment of death, originally in Latin and apparently based on a psalm: Commendatio animae
