Murray's Irish Pub closes down - Berlin

Murrays (formerly The Emerald Isle) is closing down! The last day is tomorrow 12th July so I reckon there should be some freebies going!
Shame though, it was a good boozer.

Dessa, what is so curious about someone joining and making a comment or posting a topic, I thought that was what is was here for. Posting that a pub, that some expats use, is closing down!! Ummm very curious!! Lol!!

it's curious because you've only joined today, why, for the express purpose of telling us that murrays is closing? that's mighty quick, isn't it? Hear that a bar is closing, search the web for an expat website, create a membership and break the news to a bunch of strangers you've never met or even heard of? what makes you think anyone here gives a crap about murrays, unless you've been around here before...?

I've heard Dave is a disgruntled worker who is attempting to fill the pub with people one last time before locking the doors and gassing as many as possible before doing the rest in via the kitchen and toilet combination.
I hope Now Now makes the party.

Dessa I really can't be bothered with this. I have known of Toytown for 4 years, have posted before but not for years, & had forgotten my log in details so created a new one. Heard about the pub, cos I go there and know the staff & thought some people might like to know tomorrow is the last day (the staff only found out on Weds) instead of turning up next week & the pub is shut. I can't even see what could be suspicious about it anyway? A touch paranoid are we? Maybe smoke less weed & spend less time on here "deciphering" what is the "true" meaning of peoples posts.

Don't bother replying Dessa cos I will never be on this site again. I stopped using it years ago cos of idiots on it & it obviously hasn't changed so...bye

Shame - it used to be a good pub. Don't know where to go for Sunday lunch now that's any good.
