English/German conversation partners for children

Hi everybody,

We are a German family living in Northern Hamburg in Sasel. Our 8 year old son has had English lessons at school for three years now. He wants to practise talking during his summer holidays at any time during August 10 to August 26, and maybe thereafter too. We envisage no teaching lessons, just talking on whatever subject whilst playing or doing something of interest. Hey people!

I'm an au pair of two German boys ages 6 & 8 and they have conversational English skills but no one else to talk to in English besides me (which they do on a daily basis). Both enjoy speaking English and the parents would love for them to have English speaking friends but don't know how to go about finding them so I thought I'd help out. The mother is more than happy for me to take the boys anywhere and is happy with this idea as well. Unfortunately, I am not here on the weekends but perhaps later the mom could bring them (she can speak English too). If anyone with English speaking kids would like to meet up somewhere after school then I'd be more than happy to bring them out. Just send me a message if you're interested..

Hello,

We have moved to Hamburg a month ago from Australia. Our 8yo daughter is enrolled into Phorms Bilingual School and she will start grade two from September. We would be very happy to meet families with children of similar age and make some new friends. We work full-time but are free in the evenings from 5 p.m. onwards or during the weekends.
